Here at St Columba’s, we believe it is important for children to have a broad and balanced curriculum. We believe that relationship, sex and health education (RSHE) is crucial to our pupils’ development. It helps children to make informed decisions, manage their emotions and develop healthy, important relationships within the Catholic Faith.
We understand that RSHE is a sensitive topic and needs to be approached in different ways to support the needs of our pupils. The Archdiocese recommends ‘A Journey in Love’ programme which supports the Catholic Faith and is also age appropriate.
