“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
Corinthians 3:17
Here at St Columba’s, we are encapsulating and facilitating our children to maintain ‘holding hands with Jesus as we love, learn and grow together’ to broaden and foster their faith in as many different ways as possible. One of the ways we have decided to do this is through the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
At the end of each week, each year group teacher will choose one child who has displayed one of the gifts (joy, self-control, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, generosity, faithfulness, and charity) bestowed upon us and share in our celebration assembly how that child has been filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
“The same power that raised Christ from the dead, is living in you.”
Romans 8:11
